How to convert HTML to WordPress
Paste your HTML
Hand-written code, a template, or a page generated by an AI tool.
Convert
We turn it into a native Elementor layout: sections, containers, headings, text, images and buttons.
Download the ZIP
The Elementor JSON, ready to import, and a list of what did not carry over.
Import it in WordPress
Go to Elementor → Editor → Templates → Saved Templates, click Import Templates, upload the JSON and insert it into a page.
A WordPress page you can edit, not a theme
Most HTML to WordPress converters turn your code into a theme. That gets your design online, but every change means editing code again. Web2Elementor gives you a normal WordPress page built with Elementor, the visual page builder for WordPress. Change text, colors, images and layout by clicking, with any theme.
| Feature | HTML-to-theme converters | Web2Elementor |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | A WordPress theme (code) | An editable WordPress page (Elementor) |
| Edit text and images | In the code | Click and type |
| Works with your current theme | Replaces it | Yes, any theme |
| Coding needed | Yes, for changes | No |
Got a website from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini? Put it on WordPress
Asked Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to build you a website and got a block of HTML code? You don't need to know what to do with it. Copy the code from the chat, Claude Artifacts, ChatGPT Canvas or Gemini Canvas, paste it here, and you get a WordPress page you can edit in Elementor. No theme files, no FTP, no code editing.
- Copy the full HTML code the AI gave you.
- Paste it into the converter above.
- Import the file in Elementor and publish your page.
It also works with hand-coded sites and purchased HTML templates. If your page is already published, paste its URL in our website converter instead. Built with Lovable? Use our Lovable to WordPress converter.
What you need
- WordPress with Elementor 4.3 or later (the free version works).
- Any theme. We recommend Hello Elementor for a clean start.
What converts and what doesn't
- Converts: layout, sections and containers, headings, text, images, buttons, links, colors and typography.
- Doesn't: form logic, custom JavaScript interactions and anything that needs a backend. You get the visual layout; every conversion lists what did not carry over.

Developers turning HTML into Elementor templates
7,000+ pages converted·8,000+ accounts
“I converted HTML code into an Elementor template and the result was really amazing: I got the results within seconds.”
“I completed two test HTML page transfers, and everything was transferred flawlessly. It's both surprising and delightful—the entire style of the elements, with their gradient transitions and relative positions, is spot-on. Bravo! I tried other services, and their results were only partial enough to warrant manual completion. I'll try transferring more complex websites, and if everything goes as smoothly, I'll update my review. If anything goes wrong, I'll let you know.”
“Web2Elementor, great for converting websites into Elementor JSON blocks.”
HTML to WordPress FAQ
Yes. The free plan gives you 2 credits every 2 months, so you can try it before you pay.
No. You get an Elementor page that works inside your existing WordPress theme. Nothing is replaced.
No. The free version of Elementor 4.3 or later is enough.
Yes. Paste the HTML they generated. If the site is already published, paste its URL in our website converter.
Copy the HTML code ChatGPT gave you, paste it into the converter on this page and download the file. In WordPress, import it with Elementor and publish. The same works for code from Claude and Gemini.
Paste them together as one HTML file, with the CSS inside a <style> tag. Ask the AI for "a single HTML file with the CSS included" and it will give you exactly that.
Styles are mapped to native Elementor settings, so the design stays editable. Custom JavaScript and form logic don't carry over; the conversion lists what was left out.
Work with HTML often? Use the HTML to Elementor Chrome Extension
Capture the HTML, layout and styles of the page you are viewing, then export an editable Elementor JSON file without leaving Chrome. It is useful when you want to reuse a live section, inspect a design reference, or start from rendered browser HTML instead of copying code manually.
